The voraus EtherCAT Master is an easy to use and flexible EtherCAT Master.

Features

• ENI files: The master works with EtherCAT Network Information (ENI) files that describe the network.

• OPC UA Server: Information about the EtherCAT devices are published on an OPC UA server. The OPC UA server can also be used to read and write PDOs.

• PDO automations: simple time critical sequences or reactions can be programmed in a mini language that is interpreted inside the cyclic task of the master.

• Python interface: We also provide a python library which can be used to either directly write PDOs or to program PDO automations.

• Docker: This application is published as a docker image.
