2.1. Requirements

The voraus.core is delivered as a preconfigured software container solution including the runtime, the voraus.operator and many features. A customized configuration can be provided on request.

Optionally, the software can be delivered pre-installed on the voraus.ipc.

For the voraus.core//virtual the voraus industrial robot can be used, if no other specific robot type applies. The robot type is chosen through the identifiers, stated in the second line of each box. Their use is explained in the Installation chapter of the corresponding voraus.core.

Further models can be integrated on request. Please provide your preferred robot model when ordering new voraus.core licenses.

2.1.1. Hardware Requirements

The voraus.core can run on and supports different hardware systems. From mid-performance embedded IPCs, over well-known industrial control to edge devices and the cloud. The voraus.core can be deployed on laptops and other mobile devices. The voraus.core is shipped in Docker containers.

Recommended IPC requirements:

  • RAM: 4 GB

  • Network: 2 Ethernet ports (i210+)

  • HD: 20 GB SSD

  • USB: 3+ 3.1

  • Other: TPM
